Currently I have the Rand 7710 and would not reccomend it because it has been very unreliable on destinations even though I keep it updated. I will say that it is easy to use and has alot of helpful features. Next time I will go back to Garmin.

I test drove the RV 760 on a recent trip to Boston and it took me right through the Fort McHenry Tunnel in Baltimore. I may not have configured it correctly, but it sure didn't on that trip.

CoPilot does.

No, the Garmin 760 does not account for propane in the rig.

Here is another vote for Copilot.

I have used it on three trips with my Samsung Note with the 5" screen and it has not failed me yet. The DW just got a Samsung Note with a 7" screen so we will use it on our next trip. That's $10 vs $300+-.

The RV760LMT does not take propane into account. The Dezl 760 Trucker Version does.

Garmin 760lmt is what I have and love it. Don't forget that Garmin has Basecamp that you can down load onto your laptop to plan your trip then you can down load onto your gps and push go. Basecamp check it out!!!!!

My Favorite is Microsoft Streets and Trips on my Notebook or Netbook (Laptops) much larger screen (15.6" on this one about 10 on the other one) makes it way easier to see the map at a glance, Larger keys to type on and otherwise intuitive operating controls make it easier to use.

That said I use 3.. One vintage Garmin, (Which is currently out of service, Lost the Antenna) S&T (With GPS dongle) on either of my laptops (But not both) and Google Maps on my phone.. That last one has kind of impressed me when in the car.. I'll use it a couple times today.

We have the Rand McNally 7720 and it is a good unit but it bothers me with some of its routing and updates. Right here locally it has the speed limits wrong and a local expressway and when we routed a trip to Watkins Glen it tried to send us down a restricted hill that won't allow anything over 18,000 pounds. We have used the Garmin Nuvi before and I think the next change will be back to a Garmin.

Thanks for the advise!

I'm going to give CoPilot a try.

Are you folks using the CoPilot Truck version?

Truck version not needed. The regular $14.95 iPad app has voice, RV trip setting, RV height, LP restriction etc.

Tom, I'm using the free Android app download. It also has voice, RV height settings and LP restriction. If it has RV Trip Setting, I haven't found it yet. Not that I've really ever gone looking for it.

I do know for a fact that it has routed me around at least one low bridge. When it didn't take me down a road I had expected it to I pulled over and consulted my Rand McNally Truckers Atlas and discovered that there was an 11' 8" overpass a few miles up the road I was expecting to take. CoPilot got a lot of points for that save.

Below is the one I am using. In the setting you can set it for RV. It also has settings for the height of bridges.
