Darn it. I started to edit and correct this post but it didnít get updated until after the lockout period.

Anyways , I wanted to say that the layout DOES scale nicely between iPads; I think mainly because of the screen ratios being similar. Not so lucky when using them on my iPhone XS. Then again, who that heck could even begin to see all the gauges on that small screen!

I have tried all of the iPad layouts on my iPhone and they are all bunched up. Itís not a big deal whatsoever. I just havenít had time to make a couple templates for my iPhone 8+. I use my iPhone on my dash for running Waze, Spotify, and now blue fire. I do have a mount for a my iPad mini which I might be inclined to use. Havenít had time to set that up either!

Error Importing to Samsung Tablet

I followed Redbaron73's directions to import a file, when I hit the import button I get the following popup:

"A serious error has occurred and has been sent to Bluefire support to determine its cause. Failed to import.

I am not using an Ipad, I am using a Samsung Tab S2 running Android 7.0, I used dropbox.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you by chance try to import the file again? The reason I ask is I received the same message once, and after retrying the import everything worked fine.

I have sent an email to Mark regarding the loading of iOS files onto Android. There is a bug.

Since you too received the bug, please go into your application and under settings choose the option to send event logs. This will help Mark in finding and fixing the problem.

I too got that error message when I downloaded the .xml file. I tried again by downloading the ZIP file and all went well.

Fuel Guage Doesn't Work

Received my Bluefire today:

I have a 2008 Tiffin Phaeton QSH, 360 HP Cummins ISC, Freightliner chassis.
I guess that the fuel guage does not go through the J1939 connector, it must read ohms from the sending unit. This may be a deal breaker for me.

Here are some modifications in Version 3.2 which should be released before the end of the month that might help in situations like yours:

ē Trip Page
The Distance Remaining is calculated on the Trip Fuel Economy rather than the Life to Date Fuel Economy.
Added a 'Fuel Fill Up' button that will reset the Fuel Remaining to 100%. Note, this is only shown if 'Ignore Fuel Gauge' is set in Fuel Tank Settings.

ē Fuel Tank Settings (Settings Page)
Added a 'Ignore Fuel Gauge' option that will ignore your Fuel Level gauge and calculate Fuel Remaining using Fuel Used since the last fill up of your fuel tank(s).
Added a 'Show Calculated Fuel Level Gauge' option that will show the Fuel Level gauge using the calculated Fuel Remaining instead of the ECM reading.

Just an FYI for those that are also members of the TRVN forum (it's free, and you do not need to be a Tiffin owner to join).

It was just brought to my attention by a member of that forum that XML files can be uploaded. I just clicked on one and downloaded it to my selected folder as an XML file. I then imported it and it worked fine.

Copy and paste the XML files

i was able to do a simple copy and paste function to get the XML file to a different platform. When viewing the RAW XML data do a select all and copy. Then using NOTEPAD paste it and save AS an xml file

Is this a direct replacement for the Vmspc software only? Uses the same hardware?
