Can a Direct Geni rec. work with a Winegard

standard satellite dish? I realize it wouldn't bee Hi def

We used our Genie boxes with an 2007 vintage KVH R4 dome for over a year after I modified the dome for SWM operation. Then we replaced the dome with a new RF Mogul dish for the HD programming.

It depends on the dish. If it's a Trav'ler for Dish network, it can't be changed over. If it's a dome antenna, it may just require changing the DIP switches.
