Canadian Shaw direct issue
I have Winegard Shaw Direct auto locate dish with the updated ODU
it worked fine this summer now I am getting ready to leave BC Canada and my dish will not lock on to satellite it just keeps searching. there is no obstructions.
anyone know a fix.

I cannot help you with your problem BUT Shaw no longer works in the USA. Some users have had a Dish dome and rcvr.

Shaw still working in Mexico but limited number of Chanel’s received. A few here purchased the star link and now use the firestick. I will probably store my shaw dish when we leave mexico and cancel my account.

Apparently not working in Arizona. Where are you in Mexico? Do you have a bigger dish.

Working in Mesa with standard shaw dish but with reduced channels

Seems to be a common problem for the dish to not lock on. Have heard that if you manually stop the dish when the signal shows up it will work. My manual dish is working in Yuma with reduced channels

For those of you with the Winegard SK-7003 Shaw Trav’ler system and and it won’t lock on to the satellite you need to have your software updated and if you are in the Red Deer, AB area please PM or e-mail @ r_dwalton@telus.net me and I can arrange to update it for you.

Shaw G1 vs F1F2
Any solutions to the G1 satellite phased in. I have lost several channels luckily the sports and primary news and Toronto still on F.

Where are you located? Are you using a roof top satellite dish that finds the satellites automatically or a ground base dish?

Shaw is phasing out the 600 series receivers. Only the 800 series will work. Shaw will do free receiver replacements.
