Worked great last week. Had to unhook the Wineguard X2 to go get gas in prep for out trip this Monday.
Hooked it all back up today and no power light on front panel.

Any ideas? I've tried different outlets including in my house. No light.
Is there an internal circuit breaker or did it just die.
I can easily get another one, but not until the end of next week.

Does anyone else have my kind of timing?

If it can't be repaired, the Wally is $50 to $70 (with voice remote).

Wally does not have an OTA input or a coax output for my rear TV.
211k has all that and serves the purpose.
Getting another one is no problem, but we are leaving on Monday. Can't get one that soon.
I'm mostly just pissed about the timing.

Could be your data card has worked loose. You can open the door on the front compartment, and pull the card and re-seat it to see if that clears your issue.

Yes sir, that was one of the first things I tried.

open the unit and look inside. You can't do any more damage. I would think a small fuse might be inside

So today we get to a park in Jacksonville Fl and hook up and I notice the power light to the external harddrive is on. Hit the 211k power button and it comes on. Hook up the Wineguard X2 and it starts searching for sats.

Unfortunately it looks like this park has too many trees and can't find the sats.

Will try again at the next park and I don't know what I might have done to make it work(?) again other than hit some pot holes.

I hate technology....

Was able to get the eastern arc sats. Everything works normally.

Technology gremlins. Yup. They are all around us and the Wally is not immune. Dish (in their ULTIMATE wisdom) pushed a firmware update recently. Mine decided to not work afterwards. Took me two+ hours of fiddling, unplugging, rebooting, saying a number of choice words, replugging, screwing in cables to finally get it to work.
Technology makes life easier, right…
