Dish Hopper 3 and Winegard Tra'vler?

In a month or so I will be moving and we will live temporarily in our motorhome while looking for a new home. My normal routine is to use my Wally while in the motorhome and the Hopper 3 stayed in the house. We could possibly be at a campground for a month or so and I was thinking it would be better to use the Hopper 3 instead.

What are my options for setting up something temporarily?

Raymond check this out https://rvseniormoments.com/tech-docs/dish-tv-for-rvs/ should tell you everything you need to know about Hopper3 and Traveler. I have used this system on my last two coaches. This web page is from Tech-Writer on IRV2 forum. I have used the DPH42 switch both times. The Hopper3 works great on the coach, I can record multiple shows at the same time.

Good luck

So my options are to either get a DPH42 for the Winegard Tra'vler or a DPH LNB for my tripod setup. When looking for the DPH LNB it comes up as discontinued.

Where are the best websites to get these at?

You probably found this on Solid Signal -- it's the "old style" Dish Pro Hybrid Western Arc LNBF which will still work if you can find one (check eBay).

DISH has switched to the new style Slimline WA DPH LNBF -- make sure to get that plastic adapter with the Slimline.

The Old Style DPH WA LNBF is still available on eBay.

Thanks for the info. I think the tripod setup would be the best option. I could use it at the campground plus use it at my new home until Dish installs their dish.

Is this all I would need for my 1000.2 tripod setup for the Hopper 3?

I have this on the way and I plan on testing it with my Wally. Will I need the solo hub for the Wally? Once I get the tripod lined up I will take the Hopper 3 out of the house to check it.

I received my DPH LNB, yoke and solo hub times two today. I ordered only one, but they shipped two of everything.
