DISH missing eastern satellite

I'm been using a Winegard X2 with my VIP211K for several years. I have returned to the east coast for the first time in a couple of years and am having an issue with the "eastern arc".

When I go through the start-up procedure, the 77W satellite is missing. I get 61.5W and 72.7 work fine and I get all my channels. When I look at the strength meter (menu 6-1-1), the 77W satellite doesn't even appear.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks!

Ron

Maybe a Musk Starlink satellite is interfering.

I've been using a permanent mounted eastern arc dish in NH and FL for many years. It only has 2 LNB's. One is for 61.5 and the other is 72.7. I've never needed 77. I was told that 77 is primarily for Hispanic stations, but I have no evidence to support it.

Yeah. There is nothing there. DISH really should update the software so that it does not worry about it.

Thanks!

Yes, it would be nice if they updated the software. I get the error every time I setup... but oh well.

Appreciate the info!

Well, that explains why I haven't been able to get the 77 lately, even with a clear view of the sky.
