Dish Network Roof Mounted
I bought a new Coach. It came with a roof mounted King Dish Tailgater with Wally. I park the coach inside plugged in to power when not in use. I have noticed the Dish is continually trying to locate satilite even with Wally box turned off. This also happens when I am parked and it can't get clear view. I have been having to unplug when not in use. Is anyone else having this issue. I am worried since I noticed this, if I forget to unplug it may burn the motor up.

Unplug the Wally. The Tailgater is powered through the Wally.

There should be an on/off switch in your entertainment center cabinet to cut off the power to the rooftop dish. It might look like a light switch.

That's common with the dome antennas and Dish. If you don't want to have to go through the startup routine every time, just leave the Wally turned on and turn the TV off. That way it stays locked onto what ever satellite the Wally is tuned to. I did that for a few years when I had a dome antenna.

I installed an inline A/B Coax cable switch for ours. Signal/Power to the dome in position "A", slide it over to "B" and its Off.

I do basically the same thing except the "B" side is connected to the storage bay coaxial connector that I use with the dish on a portable tripod!
