Dish Network Signal Meter

I have both the Winegard Travl'r and a portable dish on a tripod. I am find it more and more difficult to aim the tripod as we move around the country just by eyeballing it. I am looking for recommendations for a signal meter that will work with the Dish Hybrid LNB and the Hopper 3 combination and not cost me more than our entire sat setup. Chuck

I am looking for a signal meter. It attaches to the coax cable on the sat dish. Chuck

Super Buddy Sat Meter.

You can only buy used Super Buddys now. The manufacturer has replaced it with the XR-3, a more expensive (of course) version.

Doesn't dish still have a signal meter on their setup screen? Of course it takes 2 people.

Not sure I'm willing to go to this expense for something I will only use occasionally. Chuck

That only works once your right on the satellites and will only work for one sat at a time. There is also a long lag for the meter to start working on the receiver. Not a lot of help.

Chuck

I need a meter for Dish and not DirecTV. And not paying $700 either. I was hoping there was something a little more affordable. Chuck

Send me a PM, I have a rarely used Birddog sat meter for all the birds in the sky. I know its kind of old school, but still works great. And its cheap.

Thanks Don. Before we start emailing, can you tell me if this will work for the Dish twin hybrid LNB? Chuck
