It is a scaled back version of the Winegard Pathway X1. It is only capable of receiving DISH Western Arc satellites and only has one receiver output connection.

I have not used the Playmaker, but did have an X1 on my last motor home. It worked fine, but as mentioned it is DISH only and will only receive the western arc. You might consider the G2 Carryout as it will work with either DISH HD or DirecTV SD, or the X2 which is DISH only, but has a larger antenna.

The wife loves her Kansas City Royals and we bought the Playmaker on sale. I read the recommendations on which Dish receiver and got the 211k so we can run the back TV also.
I ran a new Rg-6 cable into the entertainment cabinet and plugged everything in and all work after I called Dish to activate the 211k.
Playmaker worked well and I am happy. I got the stand for it too.
BTW CW gave us a year extension on our membership and free roadside.
