I have a Dish ViP622 DVR that I use in the MH from time to time, It has an input for OTA signals.
The MH has the typical amplified batwing antenna.
How can I utilize the batwing to feed OTA signals into the ViP622?

I guess I need to be more specific.

The amplifier on top of the antenna is fed 12 volts from the wall switch. I don't think I should be feeding a 12 volt signal into the ViP622 DVR OTA port.

If the 12 volts will damage the OTA port I could feed the coax direct from the antenna into the OTA port, however, the antenna amplifier may cause a load on the signal and I won't be able to get very good reception.

I appreciate any information.

Normally the 12 volts is filtered from the output signal before arriving at the output connector. If you have 12 volts at the connector then there might be a problem with the amplifier.

There is no 12V power on that side of the cable connection. The 12V power is supplied to the antenna amplifier inside the bat-wing but this is not send from the amplifier to the receiver.
It wouldn't matter if you were connecting this cable to the back of a TV or the back of a DVR, it would work just the same.

Thanks guys,
I have been having too many Senior Moments lately and did not want to mess up the DVR.
