The first Wally we had wouldn't do much of anything. I spent the better part of a Saturday trying to get it to work. I gave up and disconnected it to put in a replacement. As I was leaving the RV, it slipped and I dropped it down the exit stairs onto the driveway. At first, I thought that I'd already tried everything else and maybe that would fix it, but then I noticed a handy 2X4 sitting in my garage and thought, if a little banging is good, a lot is better. That 2X4 was about to make a mess out of that Wally when I thought to myself, this is silly, I own a hammer! I'm not sure if it ever worked. The pieces of it that I swept up all looked like they might have worked at one time. In any case, the replacement has been working fine ever since. It may or may not be because I keep that hammer right next to it on our rig.
