I'm also getting "reception error" on a wally with a dish traveler It was working fine when the camper was parked. I have 2 tv's connected with wallys and the second one is working fine. Any suggestions?

First off, Welcome to IRV2!

I have that happen occasionally with one of my Wallies on our Trav'ler antenna while the second one works fine. I found that if I pull the ID card out of the Wally and work it in and out a few times the error clears up. Apparently the card contacts develop a little corrosion or lose contact over time. I don't know if that will cure your problem, but it does for me.

You indicated your other Wally was working. I would connect this one to the coax your good one is connected to and see if it works then. If not, you probably have a defective Wally.

Is your Trav'ler a ProPlus LNB or the newer ProHybrid? If the ProHybrid, do you have the SKDPHPI kit with the power inserter and four way splitter? I had the power inserter fail and had to have it replaced under warranty. The older ProPlus can connect directly to two Wallies without the conversion kit.

I'll check when i get home next week. Not sure which traveler i have, installed by camping world just over 2 years ago. I'll try to look at the paperwork when i return. Winegard wanted me to drop a cable from port c outside the camper. I still have a 211z at home i could try as well.

Port "b" turned out to be bad; now using ports a and c until one of them fails.
