DTV signal bad

Connect to cable, one tv scans all the channels, it says DTV signal good, the other tv scans and only gets 11 channels, it says DTV signal bad. Anyone have any idea why?

Sounds like the 2nd tv is getting OTA channels only. You can scan for Cable, OTA, or both, on some sets.

Or there is a bad connection on the coax to the second TV.

Yes, I've tried scanning both ota and cable. Still not getting all the channels. I'm thinking it might be a bad HDMI splitter?

First, some TV tuners are better than others.

Second, it may be digital cable and your TVs need QAM tuners to decode the signal. In that case, one of your TVs may not have a QAM tuner.

HDMI has nothing to do with the over the air channel scanning or reception. You might have a problem with a coaxial splitter (coax cable with screw-on F-type connectors).
What year/model coach do you have? Better yet, what Brand and model number are the two TV sets?

2022 Thor Quantum both tv's are Executive brand. The one in the overhead bunk works fine, the one in the rear couch/bed area is the one that doesn't always get all the stations. Just wondering if it could have anything to do with the strength of the cable signal coming in from the RV park cable?

Check for loose COAX fittings. Are they properly crimped? Does the center wire extend to the same plane as the rim of the nut?
