I'm embarrased and apologize in advance for asking this, but it's driving me crazy!

At one time Micro$oft Optical Mouse employed a feature whereby pressing the wheel would cause the web page being viewed to go back to the previous one. For some reason, this feature has quit and for the life of me, I can't remember what enabled that?

Any help that you can provide for this non-RV subject would be appreciated! Well, I do use the mouse to view the IRV2 pages!!! <G>

Hi Red,

Thanks for bringing up the feature of the using the mouse wheel as a way to go back a page. My mouse also does that, but I never realized it until you mentioned it.

I did a little quick research and found that if you go to Start Menu/Control Panel/Mouse you can select the actions that each of your mouse buttons perform. My mouse wheel is set to "Web Wheel" which cause the back page action you described. The Web Wheel appears to be software though, so you may want to set the center wheel to the "Internet Back Command" setting.

As always when changing a setting, jot down your existing setting before you make the change so you can undo it if you don't like the results.

Joe
