DVR for streaming TV and Digital Antenna

Is anyone using a DVR to record shows (especially live TV) to watch later? What brand? what challenges? Anything will help

We watch most TV via YouTubeTV and PlutoTV.

For sure on YouTubeTV, you can set up to record series shows while watching for viewing later - we do that with Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
Not sure if you can set to DVR upcoming shows - might can at their website.

For Pluto - you can OnDemand a lot of their programming. Pluto is free as long as you have an internet connection.

Not sure what more your looking for. Am pretty certain our home ISP allows recording shows for later replay.

Not sure what your trying to record and by what technology your trying to record with, but the above are ideas.

Edit: I just happened to think, maybe your trying to OTA (Over The Air) to record programming.
That’s a hard one anymore.

Dish network Wally receiver with USB hard drive is probably the easiest for many and requires no internet.

Alternately, internet streaming is its own DVR so any service that has the channels you want...

Over the Air DVRs exist too.

I'll add Sling TV via a device like Roku to the DVR list. All programs saved on the DVR are allowed to skip commercials at will. That a make or break deal for me. I love it.
