I want to "refresh" the entertainment system in my coach. It currently has the original equipment Winegard TV antenna, in-dash AM/FM/Cassette, Audiovox Video Cassette Player, 19" color TV, etc. I recently replaced the Winegard TV power receptacle and noticed that most of the original coax cables connectors are either very loose or are already have the shielded braid broken. I would like to install a small to medium size flat panel TV in place of the TV above the cokpit area, also put a small one in the bedroom and install DVD players. I would also like to eventually install a satellite system (but I need new tires and some other essentials first). Is there anyone out there that has done this? I am concerned about how hard it will be to route new cables, what kind of cables I should use, what could I expect in terms of increased amperage draws, should I replace the Winegard TV antenna, etc.
