Feel like an idiot! - Bluetooth on Firestick

I have been streaming TV for a few yrs. now. Although I have smart TV's at home, I have a dumb TV in the TT. Have used the Fire TV stick since I started streaming because I like the convenience of the simple remote and can use on the dumb TV in TT.

When I want to watch without disturbing my wife, every night after she goes to bed, I use Bluetooth earbuds and a Bluetooth transmitter hooked to the TV audio output. I have been through a few different transmitters with various problems with connectivity.

To my surprise, I just discovered that the Fire stick has Bluetooth capability and was able to connect with my earbuds with the Fire stick and have had no more connection issues. Power up he earbuds and connects instantly with much lower latency (audio sync lag ) and mutes the TV audio automatically.

Sure wish I had discovered this a few yrs. ago!
Would have saved a lot of aggravation.

Nice tip, thanks. I just bought the new "pro" remote for the backlight feature and surprise it's not compatible with my fire TV lol.
