I checked and it seems that one very critical feature is missing in those reviews. Whether the service that was speed tested was 4G LTE or 5G. One that I checked (Shoal Creek Buford GA) showed only 33Mbs for T-Mobile but I was just there and received over 250Mbs. My service was 5G HC. As the 5G system matures, higher data rates will also increase over a wider area. Those with 4G LTE only devices will not usually see any improvement.

That is the resource I use. I guess you will have to do what you suggested in the previous post and start a thread and get those 15,000-plus campgrounds listed as just 5G services. Of course, the thread would need to be updated as they update towers and roll out 5G services. Good Luck..
I see that Shoal Creek Buford GA only has I review since the lowest and highest are both 33. When you were there would have been nice if you posted your speed to give others a snapshot of the services.

Ya, it would have been nice to add my speed test to their rating. Maybe next time. Plan to return next year and also Old Federal Campground as well. Actually, I'd like to see some form of speed rating compilation for areas that are not just campgrounds. Like a national speed rating report for any location.
I plan on doing a trip to Road Atlanta for the Petit Le Mans in October. Will be interesting to see how capacity handles an area that's 5G HC but with an additional 150K people. My guess is it will start out good on Tuesday but by Friday things will go very bad. Will depend on how many 5G data users there are. I'll have both T-Mobile and AT&T sim cards and several hotspot devices to support them for comparison.
It's one reason I still use Dish for entertainment. No capacity issues, all the channels I want, and my RV spot has clear view of the sky.

I can tell you that at Sebring this year, speeds on Verizon and ATT basically went to zero. I could not get a speed test to run.
That is why I also keep Dish active.

This is likely to happen at any big gathering where dozens or hundreds of users are all trying to stream at the same time. Available capacity gets overwhelmed. Satellite does not have this issue.

We mostly camp away from most people in the Great Basin because we want dark skies with few trees for enjoying astronomy. I am waiting for version 3 of StarLink to come out of testing then we will order the hardware. The people with Star Link at Oregon Star party were very happy with the 100+ Mbps download speeds. The Great Basin is a big place with a lot of sky and few people to overwhelm Star Link satellites.
I sent my Hopper and two Joeys back to Dish. I free cycled my Wally and portable automated Dish.
I have been happy with Youtube TV and like the price which is less than half of what we paid to Dish. I am paying for the 4K version so I can have unlimited streaming at the house and 3 mobile streams away from the house.
We are also happy to be paying $30 a month for T-Mobile 5G home Internet and not paying $100/month for Spectrum Internet. I am get consistantly higher upload speeds with T-Mobile.

Same experience year after year at Sebring, where there are many thousands by Friday of race week. Looking forward this year to firing up my portable Dish setup and seeing the results.
