For those with a Dish Tailgater - how do you store it?

Do you leave it in the box it was shipped ?

Its kind of bulky, just trying to think of a good manner to store it.

We set it on the couch,then slide in, when traveling. We are in a Montana 35 ft. fitfth wheel. When we are camped and can't (or don't want to) use it, we put it in the bunk house slide, which I modified for storage. It appears to be a tough piece of equipment.

It's just a tad too big to fit in any of our storage bins.

So for traveling: We have a small plastic table that I use as a end table to place a drink, etc. When flipped upsidedown that table makes a near perfect sized cradle for the Tailgator. Just sits on the carpeted floor of the living room - the table top against the carpet makes enough grab that it does not slide around.

I have had the tailgator for about a year and I put it beside the bed in the bedroom,that way it doesn't move around.If you have a shower stall you may could keep it in the box and put it in there.Good Luck and many Safe and Happy Travels.

It may be more delicate than I thought. My first one failed but King Controls was very fast sending me a replacement. No problems with the second one. I do like the Tailgater.

I set it in the front locker between a couple of larger items.

We bought an inexpensive mount for the rear ladder. Always out of the way. When you get to the camping area, plug it in and aim.

I keep my Tailgater in the streetside storage area.
