I had to change my service from Earthlink to Embarq. I found out after the move they don't offer dialup as I could find local numbers with Earthlink. This will be a problem while Rving. What service can I get that is reasonable ?

Tom,

I use AOL for $13.45 a month for their 'bring your own Broadband' plan. (AARP Discount too)

I switched to a Sprint Air Card, no more worries about connections. I use gmail.com for email service.

Take a look at www.juno.com or www.netzero.com (same company I believe). It's about $10/month and if you only use your connection on rare occasion then they have a free plan (at least they did) that allows 9 hours per month access.
