I have used Garmin GPS for automotive navigation for several years and have been more and more impressed with their products and features.
At the end of this month, Garmin is releasing a 7" GPS, the dezl 760 LMT ("Lifetime Maps and Traffic") which is mainly being advertised for trucking application. If this is a good unit, I believe it will be a welcome addition to RV GPS offerings.
The dezl 760 follows prior release of the Garmin dezl 560 LMT in January, 2011. The 760 appears to be a 7" version of the 560 (5" screen) with all 560 features, but also "Lane Assist", which helps highlight the best lane of travel, especially after turning, as well as software to plot out fuel mileage.
I called Garmin today and confirmed that the 760, like the 560, will have an "RV mode" along with auto and truck modes. Great news for us if it's a good unit.
I am wondering whether anyone has purchased and had experience with the Garmin dezl 560 LMT -- if so, can you advise how well you have liked it and can you comment about both good and bad things which you have experienced with it?
Many thanks!
