Question Garmin Drive 52 Problems

Yesterday I bought a Garmin Drive 52 for our Toad. It worked fine on the drive home from the store as a test. When I got home Connected it to the computer checked for updates, etc., uploaded previously saved way points, etc. Today, I wanted to check some settings and the device does not respond to screen touched with a finger or stylus. Extremely annoying since the old Nuvi required numerous touches to enter data.

Power

Yes, it will power up, then goes to the warning screen. After a minute or two it goes to the Map/Where To screen. It does that automatically but still does not respond to the touch.
Garmin sent instructions to recalibrate the touch screen but the GPS does not respond as the video shows. It jumps screens as above.

I had similar issues with a couple of different Garmins and i ended up charging them in the car, doing a reset (google it), and then updating the maps. I also thought i bricked them somehow. It seems the unit has to be charged

I actually ordered two new ones when i was having trouble so now i have a RV770 and a spare 5" model.

Thanks. I never thought of Googling a reset, I'll check it out.
