I am sure the Dezl and the RV unit are similar, but the RV is definitely geared more to RV use!! Anyone want to buy a lightly used Dezl...
FYI, I submitted a customer feature request to Garmin yesterday:
We have a Dezl 760LMT which we purchased 2 months ago. At the time, it was Garmin's recommended RV GPS.

Given that the new RV760LMT unit is extremely similar to the Dezl and that many RVers have purchased the Dezl rather than a competitor's RV-specific GPS, we strongly encourage Garmin to make the America's RV Parks and Services Directory available to registered Dezl owners. It would acknowledge customer loyalty to the Garmin brand during the absence of an RV-specific GPS from the product lineup.

I received the following this morning, so I'm taking their advice and encouraging others to request the new database be made available to Dezl owners
Thank you for contacting Garmin International.

Thank you for this, I've submitted your full message as a feature suggestion for the dezl 760LMT. I've created a ticket number as a reference, which is 2257590. While you won't necessarily being contacted back, this is a reference for your suggestion. I got my Dezl before the Rv version came out. Hmmmmm, wondering if the dezl can be switched over via update[s] somehow?

Sent Garmin the request for future updates to firmware..... Wonder if they will listen?

Completely different firmware and software.

I would suggest trading your unit in towards the purchase of the RV760LMT.

They may give you more than you think.

I have the Garmin RV760. Took me a while to decide between the two (Dezl or RV). Not sure yet if I made the right choice but I do know that either one is the right choice. Go Garmin and you won't be disappointed.

There are very few locations throughout this country that have a Hazard Material restriction. There are mostly found in the northeast and are usually tunnels.

However, there are thousands upon thousands of RV related listings that are readily available from the RV760LMT.

For me I'm driving a RV not a commercial truck carrying hazard materials.

I've used the Dezl 760 for 8 months and have no complaints. I have loaded POI's from the POI Factory to add additional campgrounds, Walmart, and low clearance. I find that the POI Factory updates their POI's faster than any gps manufacturer does. In addition, if you find an error or a needed update to a POI file, the POI Factory database maintainers will respond and update the file much quicker than the gps manufacturer does.

One of the things I discovered about the Garmin units is that you can easily see the screen while wearing polarized sunglasses unlike my previous Rand McNally RV gps.

I plan on using my Dezl 760 with my rear view camera but if you want to try this you will need to buy the video cable separately. It adapts the RCA video connector from the rear view camera to the video jack on the GPS mount.

I've been looking to upgrade my Garmin 7200. The new units are nice but I have a GXM-30 puck antenna for XM radio. Can anyone tell me if there is a mini usb port and and a 3.5mm audio out on these two units? If I can't run XM through it then that's a deal breaker for me

And these rest areas are just the pull in type with no amenities?

Just looked at mine again and it shows all rest areas. It even shows detailed maps of each one.
There is a Rest Area on I35 just a few miles from my house and it shows that and the distance to it as well as directions.

I would think it should be in the RV then also. Is it a icon in your menu's? Or does it just show on your main screen? I have looked and never found it but maybe I am just not searching the proper areas.

Joe,

On your RV760LMT unit, here are the steps to find rest areas.

1. Main screen select Where To?
2. Select Categories on right hand side
3. Scroll down to Rest Areas and select.
