Garmin RV 760LMT
$1.72 from Del Wire
http://www.delcity.net/curt?id=Towin...ries-CURT58312
They probably have a minimum purchase per order though. Oops, just checked, they have no minimum order charge, but do ship free over $99 per order.

Not only is the cable the antenna for traffic many of today's electronic devices do not run on 12 volts. Tablets , dash cams and phones are usually 5 volts. The Garmin plug says 10.5 volts.

I found out today that the RV 760 LMT does NOT have an Anti-theft lock anymore. My old 265W did and cost half as much. WT.?

Frankly, if someone were to break into your RV, chances are they will take the entire rig and not just the Garmin RV760-LMT.

True, but I do not like the idea that they can use my GPS to help them get to their destination. The 265W became useless if you did not know the code. The new one has a good resale value.

Just what I need, yet another code or password! If I am that concerned about someone stealing the device I wouldn't leave it in the vehicle in the first place.

I saw this thread pop up - I just got off the phone with Garmin and got an RMA to get my RV 760LMT replaced. Bought it last July; used it on one 6-week trip; took it out last Saturday to use again and it is dead in the water. Worked through troubleshooting with the Garmin person and now they will replace it under warranty. Pretty simple process except for the exceptionally long wait on their tech service line on Monday. Hung up and completed yesterday and this morning.

Here is garmins reply.
No. The Garmin Lock feature was discontinued on all new Garmin devices going forward.

here is my reply: Why? Let me get this straight, as the product gets more expensive Garmin has chosen to make the product more attractive to thieves? If the device is locked it is of little value to thieves or non-honest buyers, however. No security means it can be easily sold on the hot market without knowing it is hot and get a higher price for the crook? That is just plain stupid. Good product even if it is expensive. Can it be added?
By the way, using the security code was optional.

Thanks, Ron

Most Garmin units have electronics in the plug that drop the voltage down so cutting it and hard wireing out. I would run the wires behind the dash to a cigarette socket controlled by a switch.

Pretty much same thing happened here. Was one of the first to get this GPS, used it very lightly last summer. Stuck it in the truck's hide-away glove compartment and forgot about it over the winter. Due to other things going on, Rving had to be put on hold in the spring.
Pulled it out in June to do a map upgrade, and it was DOA, wouldn't take a charge. Only thing I can think of is the battery got damaged by the cold weather sitting in the truck. Garmin agreed to replace it under warranty, no problem, with a reconditioned unit. So I sent in the GPS unit only, not the cabling, etc.
They sent me a reconditioned Dezi unit as a replacement , so I called, and had to send it back for the right model. They then sent an entire replacement new RV760, with all new cabling, etc. Thanks Garmin!
I guess the moral of the story is bring the unit inside when it is cold and keep the charge maintained.

^^^^^
My fingers aren't behaving today and my quotes are following directions like I follow my RV 760 - sort of....
Glad your issue was settled so well in the end... and I think you may be right about the heat and cold being the culprit. I got a case to put everything in and never leave it in coach. Hopefully that's all that's needed.

Constant loss of signal, what's up with that?
Did update that helped but still not great, my cell phone isn't losing its signal
