Generator Issue?

I am trying to figure out why my inverter generator will not work with my new interlock on my house. I figured I would connect my Progressive SSP-50XL to the generator to see what it showed. It showed two green lights. I could not find anything in the book explaining two green lights. Maybe I missed it, but I figured the experts here would know.

Two green lights mean it's functioning normally. Ready to protect against electrical issues.

Is the house setup for 240 volt input ?

Does your generator output 240 volts ?

How did you connect the 2 ?
