Google Pixel 5 Phones

Anyone have opinions good or bad of the Pixel 5? Sorta have eliminated the 5A but...

This is for a teen that tends to hard on phones, sometime I swear he can destroy an anvil with a rubber mallet.

I want it to have good connectivity on Visible and durability. I like what I'm seeing on the specs, but don't know of anyone with experience with them.

If they only made phones like the old Nokia's, kinda miss the phone & hammer combo.

Not sure why you have eliminated Pixel 5A. My 5A is rock solid. Battery lasts 1.5 days without a problem. Screen size may be too large for some users, buy works well for me. Have had no issues. Not sure if 5A is compatible with Visible. From connectivity standpoint, I have seen as high as 100Mbps on Verizon 4G-LTE. In metro Houston I do see 5G connectivity, but fastest speeds are on 4G-LTE. Assuming that 5A prices will drop with release of 6A, I think 5A would be a bargain if it meets your needs. Projected price on 6A is $449 and to me that is a value choice hard to pass up.

I have a Pixel 5 and love it. Very stable signal reception (on AT&T), fast, no random reboots, and the best thing about Pixel, the latest available Android.

Pixel 3xl here, 4 years of hard use. Love it.
Only problem has been the charging port. Replaced under warranty at 2 years old.

The CEO decided that as fast as his phone is circling the drain to by a 6 now and I agreed. We were wanting to wait for the 6A after we started looking at specs and cost but he is unwilling to use a can and string till late July.
