An explanation please. When I import a file into Street Atlas (Draw tab selected) that shows the Pilot Travel Centers, all the centers are correctly plotted on the map with address and a symbol. However, when I view the TXT file, the map coordinates do not seem to be the same as the location on the map.

For example, the text file entry for the Pilot Travel Center at 900 North 99th Avenue, Avondale, AZ, 85323 is shown as: 33.45663400,-112.27241700. However, the Street Atlas map coordinates at that location on the map are: N33? 27.401' W112? 16.340'

Also, I am aware of the symbols used in Street Atlas, but cannot determine what in the text line entry establishes the symbol. How can I change that symbol? Any explanation for this dummy would be appreciated.

It appears to me you have degrees, minutes, seconds selected.

Go Tools>Options>Decimal Degrees

What, you don't like all those black push pins?

Go View>Legend and Overview (if it is not already on the left of your screen)>Right click on the push pin file>Left click on Properties>Left click on Symbol>Select the desired symbol
