It appears to me you have degrees, minutes, seconds selected.
Go Tools>Options>Decimal Degrees

Go View>Legend and Overview (if it is not already on the left of your screen)>Right click on the push pin file>Left click on Properties>Left click on Symbol>Select the desired symbol
