I just installed my IC756ProII in my motorhome. I decided to go with an AH-4 tuner and vertical fiberglass poll from MFJ mounted on the ladder. The pole retracts to ~3.8 feet and runs with 3 extensions at just above the top of the coach.

Well, it tunes all bands from 40-6M and works pretty well. The clip was inadvertently shorted to the ladder.

WOW! The ladder tunes perfectly and also tunes 80M Of course the ladder is not grounded but really sounds good.

Now, when I extend the fiberglass pole to its full 33 feet, it had about 1-S Unit improvement and again, tunes 80-6M. Almost no RFI in the motorhome and hopefully a couple toroids will cure that.

Hope to be chatting with some of you on the bands in a few weeks.
