HELP!!! Voyager AOM-78 Monitor gone bad???

Recently my backup camera monitor was slow to come on, then when it did, on the right side of monitor, about one inch was black from top to bottom. I'm thinking that the monitor has died. It is in 2006 coach. I have contacted the manufacturer, but I just wanted to be reassured by my friends on IRV2 that the monitor is truly the problem and not them just trying to sell me a unit.

Any feedback or comments are greatly appreciated, since we are on the road on a cross country trek from Florida to Yellowstone

Speak to Tim 877-378-2267 at RV Cams: Backup Camera Systems (All). He was a great help while I was working on my AOM-58. I ended out sending both my monitor and camera to him (this may be a bit difficult for you since you are on the road) and it was diagnosed as a monitor problem. He sent replacement monitor and mount - I installed it and it works great.
