How do I remove winegard from roof.

I have an old wine guard that I don't use anymore. What is the best way to remove it?

How should I cover the old screw holes, just use dicor?

How should I cover the old hole going in? Should I just use some aluminum sheet and dicor?

Do you have any suggestions for a flexible entry port that I could use for satellite or other cables going in in the future?

Thanks!

I left the brackets in place. I cut the old coax about an inch before it went through the thru-roof gland and left the gland in place.

When I changed dishes and the holes didn't match, I scraped off all of the old sealant, and, as you mentioned, filled all of the holes with self leveling Dicor.

RE, cable entries, there are a few available. I use (search on winegard cable entry plate). I have two of them on my Sunstar. I think both are the 4 cable models. Use Tacky Tape or butyl tape under the plate, and then seal the screw heads with self-leveling Dicor.

Remove all of the old antenna "parts".

Size a sheet of aluminum that will cover by 2" in each dimension the hole.

Paint one side to match roof if you like.

Drill holes along the perimeter to have it conform to roof contour.

Use the appropriate sealant for your roof material and bed the aluminum.
