I have an SD card with a directory I'd like to delete, been using this card with My GSP unit..
While plugged into my PC, running XP Home Addition, I try to delete the directory and get a message that "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable", and it won't delete the directory.
Interestingly enough, I can rename the directory, but can't open it, get the same message as above. Thought I'd try to ˜replace' the defective directory with a good one, that didn't work either.
Since it's not a real disk drive, some of the normal system tools don't apply to this device.
Anyone know how to delete this directory off my SD card?

Since it's giving you an error message why not just leave it? It's not taking up space, it's just bugging you.

Can you delete contents of the directory?
Can you reformat the SD card?

FLYTYER, thanks, hadn't thought about reformatting the SD Card, but that appears to have worked.

I am glad that worked, but I hope you did not lose any important files.
