There is a button on a black switch somewhere in your rv. You don't mention what model rv you have so I have no idea where it is. I have a '16 Bounder 35K and it is in the BR behind the TV on the back wall. Hit the button once and it is cable TV. Hit the button again and it turns green and activates the OTA antenna.

Not many electric to raise or rotate antennas anymore. If it rotates the mechanism is right under the antenna. Mine is in a cabinet. The old electronics for raise low and rotate were there also. It has been upgraded to a King adjustable antenna. It does not raise. Some are omnidirectional no rotation, with only fair reception. Most also have 12v injector to the amplifier in antenna. You won't pick up anything with it turned off. Looks like a house faceplate with a coaxial male, green LED and small push switch.
