iPad IOS 7 Don't Do It!

I just did the iPad IOS 7 Update. I HATE it! The look of everything has changed. Icons, keyboard, tool bars. Everything is lighter and no outlines. I looked to see if I could revert back to IOS 6 and it's not supported once the new version is released.

Fair warning!

I'll have to get used to it unfortunately.

I upgraded on the first day and I love it!
I am pretty sure you can "go backwards" if you use the reset feature in the general settings. Hope you have a back up....

No, you can't go back to iOS 6. But there's a number of options to change the fonts if you don't like them now. Some of them are in the Accessibility settings.

I think they will eventually fix the way things look, as there was a lot of changes made. I have a new update to load now, bur have not had time to mess with it. It seems like the battery life on my iPad has shortened and my iPhone improved, but guess it all evened out.

There's much more to my liking than not. Overall I think it's pretty cool.
That's on my iPhone. I don't have an iPad.

I tried to do a backup and restore. No go!

I don't like the way the photos store now. Impossible to find anything. It's all separated and chopped up. I used to be able to scroll through all. I liked the old layout better. Easier to read and do things. I should have looked at reviews before I did it. Kicking my a$$ now.

I didn't see a choice. I turned my Ipad on and it had installed the new system on its own. Guess I'll get used to it, I got used to Windows 8.

I feel your pain, dogpatch. I was having problems with my ATT iPhone4. Working them out involved doing a Full Restore. Since I had "wiped" my phone, I figured I might as well upgrade to iOS7. I too HATE it and yes, Apple will NOT allow us to go back to iOS6 if your iDevice can run iOS7. I wound up upgrading to a new iPhone5s. Of course, the 5s is faster than the 4 but, iOS7 still sux as far as I'm concerned. Do you know that you can download a full instruction manual for iOS7? Its almost 160 pages! If you can wade through that, I expect a lot will be explained but, after using an iPhone for over five years, iOS7 is Apple's version of Windows8. Everything changed for NO rhyme or reason.

They messed this whole phone thing up when they removed the rotary dial!

Just kidding. DW made the update on her phone and hates it, of corse it's taken over 40 years to get use to me. I'm waiting before I update mine.

If you select the ALBUMS view you will see your pictures like you always did. If you use the PHOTOS mode you get what you are showing.
