iPhone notifications no longer work

Anyone know how to do an update or an upgrade on the phone app my notifications have not worked in well over a year?

You probably have notifications turned off. If your apps don’t auto update you can update each one.

I’ve checked through all the settings and cannot find that I have it turned off.

I deleted it for over a year and then reinstalled it so it should be up to date.

Open settings. Scroll down to Notifications and open. Scroll down to your first app. Open it and select the notification options you want. Go back to the next app and select. You will need to do this for each app you want to have you notified.
