Put up your over the air antenna for now.

First world problems.

Sorry to burst your bubble. We’ve lost access to many of our streaming apps, that we use traveling , as well as at home. Also can’t activate our Wally receiver on the road. Most of our apps are authorized through Dish. Maybe it doesn’t bother you losing that kind of service, but as much as we pay a month for Dish, we should have access to all services. We are still paying full price as well. Dish has offered no compensation or lowering of price. I don’t want anything out of it other than our full services back. This has been ongoing for well over a month.

Hmmm. What apps specifically? All our apps through Dish work fine. Dish Anywhere, Netflix, Paramount+, etc. Perhaps you have something else going on.
As far as not being able to activate your Wally, that would be frustrating for sure. But I can't really relate, as we never deactivate any of our receivers.
So far, everything works for us, except being able to quickly change the local channels spot beam. But my wife is patient and usually gets it done within a few hours.
I suppose the only recourse for your anger is to cancel Dish completely?

Sure put up your OTA antenna. More often than not it is useless or WSNO and pixilated.

All of the channel apps through Dish, such as Discovery, History, etc., etc., will not authorize. It will not let me sign in on Dish to authorize them. I have never had any problem up to this point. I do not want to get rid of Dish. Never even hinted at it. The ones you suggest , do not authorize through Dish and never have. They are their own streaming services. Those aren’t the ones I’m talking about. We don’t deactivate our Wally. It does itself, because we only use it when we travel and doesn’t get used enough to stay activated. Normally, all we have to do to activate it, is go on the Dish app and start it again.

Well if for instance, you want to add the NBC app to your SmartTV or Firestick, it requires validation that you have a subscription (Cable or satellite) and requires you to log in to the dish system to validate.... this is unavailable at this time so can't use the app
Some apps require revalidation from time to time and if this happens it can't revalidate.... etc!

I got ya. Thanks for the explanation! So far my firesticks at home are still working. Hopefully Dish will be caught up by the time they want to re-authorize.
One thing this thread brings to the forefront is how spoiled we all are! Not only are there still 100+ other channels that still work, but we are in an RV with so many options for our entertainment. I hope we survive
Happy RVing!

Looks like Dish is back online with a redesigned homepage. Looks like most functionality is back online.

Finally! I was able to log on and check our account status. The APP is a bit unresponsive at this point though. Use mydish.com, not dish.com.

Good news for sure.

Wife online right now looking at Dish site.

Yesterday, we updated our local channels here NW of San Antonio. She was on hold for under 10 minutes at 7am central time. Wednesday night wait time was 80 minutes, so waited until Thursday morning.

Wife said, you can get on, pay bills, but the site is not as detailed as it used to be. She said it is setup a little different on their site. But she is seeing everything we need available now.

Dish anywhere dot com and My dish dot com both work for me on my computer.
They did start a second tier security code for dish anywhere. Hadn't seen that before.

In Nov of 2019 my business suffered a random ware attack. Let me tell you it is a sobering experience. It took us over a month to get back up 100%. You also learn where your vulnerabilities are, and how to spend money to fortify them in the future. It “ SUCKS”. And Crypto is evil. Knowing what I know now I would cut Dish some slack. And yes my dish any ware and HBO max are finally back. Learning to read a book for the month was such a hardship.
