Just one cable inlet??

I just bought a new class A with four tv's in it. I plan on putting 4 directv receivers at each tv. My question is will this one outside coax connection work all tv's where each unit can be operated independly? Thank You in advance..Ron

You can watch a different channel on each TV with cable or off the air antenna with a single cable. It is possible with DirecTV SD to use a single cable into a switch, however you will have to run multiple cables in the motor home. What make and model motor home do you have? Does it have a satellite dish or are you planning to use a tripod mounted dish?

The cable input connector is designed for cable TV, not satellite. If you want to run satellite receivers at each TV, you will need to do some significant rewiring.

In order to use 4 receivers you will need 4 separate cables from the dish to each receiver. It can't be split via a standard splitter as cable can. It can split using the appropriate multiswirch which may be an option for you but some require 110 power so might not be a the best option. Best bet is probably to run a separate lines to each TV back to a compartment near your current cable input. Mark each of the 4 inputs to mark which TV they go to and plug your satellite coax cables there. It would take some time but absolutely doable.

For Sat TV, I recommend you run brand new Coax, Quality RG-6, Leave the existing cable for park cable in, Many reasons for this.

Alternate, Go witih Dish, The HOPPER and Joey receivers on each TV (wireless, connect to the Hopper DVR via Radio, No need to run additional cables, Just one pair for the Hopper, that's all)

The Winegard Traveler 3005 will do what you want if you want HD, if your only want SD you can use a dome
