Jvc kw-nt500hdt nav-radio-?

I am beginning to believe that my old brain is not smart enough to operate high tech anymore. I would like to know if anyone has an issue
with the JVC Nav Radio system. It is a poor gps. It says it is Sirus ready, but does not have a receiver? It says it accepts an IPOD, but does not have a hook up (on the front has a port, but says it needs a USB).
I am really at a loss here. Thanks. Pulley

The satellite tuner is not included with many stereos. Yours requires the SiriusXM SXV200V1 Tuner, which is around $70. The iPod cable is JVC KS-U49 iPodŽ Audio/Video Cable for about $40.
If you have a smartphone, you can connect via Bluetooth to the stereo and listen to your songs. Or create a Pandora account and stream songs to the stereo.
Between Amazon and Crutchfield reviews, they give your model 3.6 stars out of 5. The GPS does get poor reviews. If you had this recently installed, you may see if the dealer will exchange it for something better. I have Pioneer and Kenwood nav receivers and like them both. Kenwood does use Garmin for its built in GPS.
