King Dome KD2200 Satellite Dish - status light Problem

We have a 2012 King Dome KD2200 satellite. We have Dish and have not had a problem with the King Dome, itself until now. We just went back on the road after about 6 months not using the satellite. Although we can hear the satellite searching the status light continues to flicker and won't hold. There are no obstructive views where we are parked. We have spent hours on the phone with Dish running tests from their end, but it just can't seem to acquire any satellites. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Sounds like you need to be in contact with the makers of the King Dome, not DISH. What you describe is an antenna problem, not a DISH problem. Until the antenna locates and locks onto the satellites, nothing can be done from the provider's end.

One after thought, do you have the proper switch pushed to make sure the dome is connected to the receiver? Without a proper signal from the receiver, some automatic antennas don't have all that is necessary to lock in.

I am with KING the manufacture of the 2200. It sounds like your dome is not locking on, and I would recommend calling our tech support just as Lt Dan suggested. Our number is 952-922-6889.
