KVH RV no response when powered on
When I turn on power to my kvh R5 the power indicator lamp comes on but there is no noise indicating that the dome antenna is moving.

Any idea where to look for problems?

It is currently set for direct and I want to switch to dish. I have the rs232/usb cable and software as well as the kvh software. No response when I am all hooked up.

Look behind the switch, the light is jumpered off of a small terminal strip. Check it for a loose wire. You will probably have to unmount the switch to get to it.
