KVH S2

After many years of excellent service my trusty old KVH dome will no longer lock on to a satellite. Anyone have any ideas about troubleshooting this old boat anchor? Sure would love to continue using it for DTV with a pair of H24 receivers, worked great all last summer with the H24s.
Has ATT made any recent changes that could effect my dome or did time and age finally do it in?
Anyone recommend a Winegard G3 carryout?

Check and make sure you have 12+ volts power going to the antenna. That antenna needed 12+ to operate. Other than that it probably died of old age. The G3 is as good as any for DirecTV. Are you sure you want to stay with DirecTV? Given the deplorable customer service, and loss of customers who knows how long they will remain in business. AT&T is trying to dump it on anyone dumb enough to buy it.

Thanks for your info, just looked at some of my paperwork and see that it’s an S5 dome, not S2.
I can hear it running, it just never finds the satellite anymore and I am totally in the clear, no trees or other obstructions anywhere near. I’ll play with it a little more before I buy another dome.....we were always amazed at how well it worked and how hard it had to rain before it lost the signal. It will be sadly missed. 😁
