Laser projectors - the next techno gadget?

saw this over at rvnet - RV.Net Open Roads Forum: Technology Corner: laser projector


I'm pretty surprised at how interesting this looks. It is a little on the pricey end but I am pretty impressed with the color and image quality. I haven't seen home theater projectors throw out colors like that. I assume this is because it is laser driven as opposed to DLP or LCoS.

Anyone know anything about these laser projectors? I thought about getting a micro projector from that same company but this new release has me intrigued.

i THINK it was a photoshoot for some womens european soccer team. I think they did a spread in playboy or similar. Can't quite remember correctly now. It has been years.
