LCD TV Install in 2000 Bounder 32H

Here are my pics of the LCD TV Upgrade I did for my 2000 Bounder 32H.

First is the Old TV:

It was fairly easy to remove, pulling the fascia off and a little lifting and out comes the TV. Here is what was behind.

The black metal thing had pins that held the bottom of the old set in.

Next I cut of the angled side pieces and gutted the floor out of the cabinet behind. The wires go to the two dash fans and lights.

This shows the top board for the door installed.

There are three european style hinges that hold the board.

Here it is with the door closed.

I added two window sash latches to hold the door closed in transit.

And the final install with a fixed TV mount. Sorry for the blurry photo, Ill replace it with a better one when I get a chance.

Great job. Betcha you got no more cabinet squeeks since you got rid of the big brick, right? Before we swapped out our CRT with a LED, our cabinets always groaned & creaked under the CRT weight when we had road bumps. I was never so glad to get rid of 80 pounds over my head!

MY Discovery got a 26" SANYO. Fit with no alterations at all. Lot better than the old CRT.
Safe travels....
