Isn't that special...
Since I have upgraded to Mavricks, my WD MyBook Duo has not been playing nicely with Time Machine at all.

I haven't checked mine yet Jeff, but my brother put me onto the article I posted. I have a couple of 1 and 2 TB drives that I do manual backups to, and I have a 1TB time machine. Having spent a few years in IT Security I do know how important it is to back up DATA. I have no concerns about the software as that can be retrieved by many means and downloaded again. But DATA is definitely on my list to back up.

I'm just going to assume that Apple will come out with a fix shortly.
