Mf985 Velocity 2 hotspot from OTR Mobile

I have a AT&T Velocity 2 mobile hotspot with service provided my OTR mobile and it has had service in the same location for over a year. all of a sudden the device loses connection to a tower. i have dropped the device pretty high up 2 to 3 times. Does anyone know if the antenna could be effected from the device or any ideas why? I dont see the cell tower stop working in one spot all of a sudden after years of use. Any ideas or feedback would be great. Thank you in advance

Download a LTE app for your cell phone that will show you the direction of the tower and signal strength.
No more guessing.

My nephew has been without connection on OTR since last weekend for no apparent reason, though he has a Netgear Nighthawk

Is the hotspot being used on the OTR Legacy plan (with AT&T)? On the Pink Blast plan (with OTR Mobile)? or on the Blue Blast plan (with AT&T)?

One reason it might have been cut off is if it was still using the Legacy plan.

I would love to know if there is one available for IOS. All the ones I have found only work for Android based OS.

Then the obvious thing to do is have a chat session with OTR customer service. I'm not sure that this group can be of much assistance.
