Mobile internet via Autonet mobile unit router

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have any experience with the Autonet mobile unit router? I've read pretty good things about it but wondered if anyone has used it. We have a 40 HR Imperial RV. Thanks
Larry

Our travel friends use it in all their vehicles and are very happy with it. He is retired IT guy so is very tech and computer savy.

I don't see any advantage versus a Mifi or Jetpack wifi+modem direct from Verizon or one of their agents. Or a similar product from AT&T or Sprint.

We ran one for 3 months and found it worked well in major cities but was very very unreliable once we where on the road.

We switched to a mifi from http://millenicom.com/ backed up by our MotoSat (Sat internet) which has worked great for us. I can not be offline due to work considerations and this has been the only setup that has allowed us to travel without restrictions when the kids are out of school.

Would the Jet Pack from Verizon have any security advantage over my smart phone hot spot capability?

No, it would be equivalent.
