I want to mount a satellite dome on the roof of my ACE 27.1 , will it be secure enough screwed to the luan roof?

My KingDome has been fine for 18 years attached to the plywood under my fiberglass roof with "well nuts":

Check with the ACE manufacturer - they may have a reinforced area suitable for a satellite dome ready go to. Fleetwood let me know by sending a diagram before I installed the Winegard Trav'ler to replace the old KVH. The screws provided by Winegard worked well.

I have been waiting for a reply from Thor for about a week and a half, I thought I might get better results here, and at least I have had responses!

Did you call them. I have always gotten a great response from thor on the phone. Your ace might be pre wired for the dish there should be a " plumping vent cover on the roof and it might be labelled for sat hook up cabling is under this if there. Good luck and try calling if you have not
