Multiple Wallys - One Coax Cable into Coach

Hello everyone! I just bought two wally receivers and I am converting my traveler from direct tv to dish. There is one coax cable running into coach. Can I put splitter on coax and run both wallys? Thank you for any information or advice.

Yes. The only consideration is where does your dish get its power from. Some have a stand alone power supply that inserts power into the coax, some have to have a receiver on for the dish to work. You may have to have one primary and one secondary. And the primary would have to be on for the secondary to work, or since your just splitting either one might power it.

I would suggest reading up on your dish before you hook up. And you bought two wally's? not a wally and a joey?

Just wondering why you would buy two Wallys?

Joeys only work with Hoppers, not Wallys. Two TV's=two Wallys.

I am looking at Dish also, and before I go out and buy the equipment, I was wondering the same thing. I only have 1 SAT connection on my motorhome, so how and/or where do I split the cable? And can I watch different channels on my 2 TVs?
Thanks.

You need to call Winegard to see what is possible or impossible. My Dish Traveler has three cables pulled down to my distribution box.
