Question Need help with installing AWM975 !

I have a Jayco 2008 super light and want to replace the the stereo/DVD unit with the Jensen AWM975 stereo unit. The new AWM975 does not come with a power cord. Is it still possible to install it and if so how do I do this?

The manual shows it coming with a 12 pin pigtail that you splice into power and speakers.

Hi Jes,

John is correct. The AWM975 terminates in a 12-pin and a 4-pin harness connector. As our unit is a factory installed model, in many cases it will simply plug into the OEM wiring during production. However, the radio ships with the mating end to blunt-cut wires for use with aftermarket installation. You would cut & splice these to the applications' wiring (power & speakers).

If you acquired your radio third-party without these included accessories, you may order a service pack through our retail website which includes all accessories for this model; or you may simply cut off the 12-pin (& 4-pin, if needed) connections and splice directly to the OEM wiring.

Feel free to call our Technical Services dept. if you have any further questions. You can reach them M-F 8:00AM - 6:00PM EDT at 877-845-8750.
