New plan - T-Mobile Mobile Internet 100GB for $50/mo Plan for Hotspots & Route
FYI - Mobile Internet Resource Center - is listing a new plan - T-Mobile Mobile Internet 100GB for $50/mo Plan for Hotspots & Routers
They are stating that it would be available for a limited time. In our current locations it has better speed that the Verizon prepaid plan because of network management and about the same as AT&T - 25 to 50 download.

I signed up for the 100g plan with the M2000 router on Sunday the 13th when it became available. Been doing some testing here at the house with it both stand alone with the M2000 wifi and with my Peplink using it as Wifi-as-WAN. Looking forward to testing it in the wild next year once stuff opens up more. The $50/100g plan is listed as "limited time only" and I wanted to get in on it to supplement my Verizon and AT&T plans.

Sounds good. I'm tempted to get it for my Peplink. I have a relatively cheap reseller AT&T plan for one SIM so this would be a good supplement for the other SIM.
Did you get postpaid or prepaid? As Cherie says in the video, it's there on the site for prepaid but not postpaid yet. Apparently postpaid has higher priority data.

I was able to go into the store and got postpaid, did it because of what she said in the video.

Per GB the plan is good, but I would not want the 2G speed after the 100gb.

Not many T-Mobile towers in the West.

It's still here as prepaid. https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/prepaid-internet
Some people say postpaid gets better priority, i.e., speed when congested, than postpaid but I read two comments a few days ago suggesting that's not true. Only T-Mobile really knows but it seems to make little if any difference.

You could have gotten someone who is clueless. You mite want to try again & If that does not work, ask for the next level up -
Who knows if pre or post paid makes a different.

I was able to sign up on the website using an unused T-Mobile SIM. I was able to get the $50 for 100Gb price even with no other T-mobile lines. Working fine in my Pepwave Max Transit duo. No SMS or other actions needed from my end.

I now have my M2000 tethered to my load balancing router. I'm getting ~4-6 Mbps which is the best I've ever gotten on T-Mobile at this location. For those of us who live in rural counties, that's a decent speed, especially when I can combine it with Verizon and AT&T connections.
